Crafting a new LinkedIn post regularly can get really tiring.
It happens to all of us.
But, there's hope.
LinkedIn offers 6 customized templates that you can use to show your connections that you're active on the platform and help with boosting your engagement metrics.
In this guide, we break down how you can use all of six of them so that you can boost interaction on the platform and get you out of your dry slump.

They're all hidden in the post section of your LinkedIn newsfeed.
So, go ahead and click on "Start a post" to begin. This is our starting point for all the templates.
Under the plus icon, you'll find six different options to choose from.
You can these templates to create general posts to keep your profile active on the platform.
Why do you need stay active?
If you're hacking growth on LinkedIn you need to constantly be engaging with your connections.
Sometimes it can be through a great post, but other times all you have to do is remind people that you're there.
Let's go through each of these templates.

Even given the current global situation, people like to celebrate.
Whether it's their accomplishments or someone else's, LinkedIn offers you a venue to properly construct a celebratory post for your project, a birthday, or to congratulate other people.
These types of post are great because they show people that you've active on the platform, and that you're the type to that shows appreciation for little victories.
From a marketing perspective, think of it as good ole storytelling.
People like hearing about small celebrations because they're stories that they can relate with and it's content that they can resonate with.
There are five unique "Celebrate an Occasion" options on LinkedIn:
Let's dive into each one.
A new team member is always a cause for celebration.
It means that your startup is growing and that the family is getting bigger.
What better way to welcome someone into the company by greeting them publicly.
Not only does the entire team get to engage with the new teammate on LinkedIn, but it also makes the newbie feel welcome and appreciated.
As an added bonus, it also tells people a lot of about the company culture that you've established.
Here's how you do it.
Click on "Start a post" on your feed, that will bring up a popup window with buttons underneath, click on "Celebrate an occasion".
Navigate to a "Welcome to the Team" post.
It will give you an option to add a photo or pick one of the preloaded templates from LinkedIn.
Now if you've been reading our guides, we always like the customized and personalized approach.
Although, you could opt for a quick picture of the company logo or an embarrassing photo of the new teammate, why don't you switch it up notch by creating a custom built one for the occasion.
You can put in their photo followed with a quick a message on the graphic itself along with the company logo and maybe a link to the company website.

Go ahead and tag your new teammate.
LinkedIn is actually kind enough to auto populate these posts for you, but why don't you go ahead and switch out the prebuilt copy for something more personal.
Make sure you fill in the appropriate hashtags to get it across the feeds of relevant audiences.
Hit "Post" and there you go.
Appreciation posts are just bomb.
They make people feel like they're appreciated and you give them the recognition that they deserve.
It establishes a friendly work culture and underlines the values of teamwork in an organization.
LinkedIn has a prebuilt template that you can use to show appreciation for people who have done a good job.
All you have to do is go back to your post options for "Celebrate an occasion" and click on "Give Kudos".
This gives you the option to tag the person you want to thank.
Fill in the post with sincere content about why you want to thank the person and you're good to go.
Make sure that you're sincere with the thanks that you give out. At BAMF, we're very serious about appreciation posts because they're built out not to show people we're active on the platform, but to boost morale and show our thanks to the team that's been growing our organization.
They're powerful posts, not only LinkedIn, but internally as well.
We've always advocated being active on LinkedIn and one way to show your prospects, connections and followers that your company is growing is by updating them about new projects.
The template for a new project post follows can also be found under "Celebrate an occasion" and you have the option to add a photo of the project or use a template.
For this particular example, we used one of the templates that LinkedIn offers, it's pretty generic, so customize to stand out.
Again, use the appropriate hashtags.
Work anniversaries are not exactly our go to posts, but make sure you encourage them in your organization.
The reason they're great is because they're a sign to other prospective applicants that people like working with the company.
They also show up on a lot of people's feed helping the organization build brand awareness.
You can switch it up a notch by getting your creatives team to come up with a coo graphic that celebrants can use and getting managers to do "Give kudos" posts for them.
This makes it a fun experience.
If you just recently got yourself a new job or a role, tell people on LinkedIn about it!
It's a good signal to the new company that you're working for that you're excited to work with them. This helps ease your passage and onboarding pains.
Plus, this is great if you have connections from the same industry, it tells them you're part of the club now and it makes reaching out to them easier.
Remember this isn't only for new jobs, you can use it for promotions and added responsibilities.

LinkedIn posts templates also make it easier for you to look for an expert in any given field with the "Find an expert" template that they have in their posts.
Go back to the create a post section of your feed and click on "Find an expert". This will take you to a window that allows you to populate the fields that you're looking for.
Choose a category or industry that you need an expert from.
Narrow down your search to highlight what services you're looking for.
Now add a quick description of the services that you're needing.
If you're in a rush, LinkedIn will populate the description of the services that you're looking for. This makes it easier if you're looking for someone to help out the organization in a pinch.
Here's a use case scenario.
Say you're looking to collaborate with other people in the hopes of brining them into your pipeline for services. This is a good way to get some people onboard.
What we like the most about this is the fact that it sub categorizes the services that you might be looking for. It looks as if LinkedIn will try to get your post in front of people who specialize in that category.
This is much better than putting out a general call for crowd sourcing on other platforms such as Facebook or on your LinkedIn newsfeed.
Linked posts have a feature for you to tag people and highlight them on your post.
This is useful if you want to promote someone on your team or talk about someone else's achievements or services.
It's different from "Give kudos" because it doesn't just focus on complimenting someone, but rather promotion.
The "Add a profile" option is fairly basic to use, it allows you to search for your connections and then make a note about them
We like this feature because it encourages engaging with other people and fosters a community that helps each other out on LinkedIn.
Promote your friends, give out a referral, say thanks, wish people well, give a recommendation, etc., there's so much that you can do with this.
LinkedIn has probably the world's biggest database on job seekers.
This is the reason why most HR managers and growth hackers rely on the platform to onboard new talent into their organizations.
There are different techniques to team hunting on the LinkedIn platform and one of the most basic options is to post that you're hiring.
We've got a LinkedIn post template just for that.
Click on "Share that you're hiring" and fill out the necessary details.
As long as you're from the company, the company field will automatically be populated with your company name.
Now enter a job title, LinkedIn will even give you options of positions that have already been use din the past.
For location, the platform will allow for a "remote" option if you're looking for a freelancer to fill up a vacancy that you have.
As you can see, it auto-populates the summary that you can put out and it will automatically even give you a link to the company that is hiring.
You don't have to place a link in it as it does it for you with this particular LinkedIn post.
This is useful for people to glean quick information about your company right off the bat.

Do note that you shouldn't rely on this template alone if you're looking for talent. Make sure you use a combination of other tools as well.
Polls are the best.
Not only do they create great posts for engagement, but they're naturally fun and encourage the LinkedIn community to interact with each other.
We like polls because they can be used in several ways to indirectly promote the product that you have.
Go up to the create a post space on your LinkedIn newsfeed and select "Create a poll".
Stick in your question.
It will give you two options for starters, but you can always add more options when you scroll down.
You have options for a poll duration - keep it to a week tops. On the off chance that you won't get a lot of respondents, you don't want to be up for too long.
Don't forget the hashtags!
The hashtags make sure that your post get organized and placed in front of a relevant audience.
We usually advise that you use about three hashtags. Remember this isn't Instagram, you don't have to tag everything or overload your post with unnecessary optimization.
People don't like that very much especially on a platform like LinkedIn.
Here are a couple of tips that you can use to get you started.
If you want to get quick engagement, you can choose to incentivise the poll that you have by picking out a winner or giving away a lead magnet to those that have participated in some way in the poll.

You can give out a whitepaper, case study, or even a free consultation to people that take part in the poll. The trick is to find something that adds value to the person that's participating.
Also, skip asking direct questions. (Unless you're doing lead qualification.)
You want to ask questions that people are begging to be answered in longform.
Instead of asking people if they would choose to growth hack, why not ask them the reasons why they growth hack?
This sparks engagement which you need to make sure that your poll builds the momentum that it needs to appear in other people's news feeds.
Remember, in a study that we did with viral posts, you need to build momentum to appear in front of people's feeds.
Encourage people to leave their comments and tag their connections in the poll that you have.
Want to qualify the prospects that you have?
You can do it in a poll.
All you have to do is put out a qualifying question in your poll, if the person answers positively to the question, you can immediately throw that person a lead nurturing message.
Segment the people you give out the poll to by publishing it in LinkedIn pods that are relevance to the question being asked or to groups that you have a presence in.
You can even find out about the industry make up of your connections through a poll.
The ultimate mark of an industry or thought leader is the ability to help other people out even in the midst of a crisis.
It does wonders to your ORM (online reputation management) because it signals to people that you have plenty enough to give away.
People who help are also more valued in their networks.
(Also, they're perceived to be good people.)
A LinkedIn post offering help is a great way to engage your connections. You can even the door to new clients.
There are seven main categories of help that you can tick out on LinkedIn, these include: General Help, Referrals, Career Coaching, Resume Reviews, Introductions, Volunteer Works, and a wildcard for Others.
You get a quick hashtag and emojii, and some space to explain to people what help you can give out.
Yes, we love custom posts.
They're more powerful than templates.
But, LinkedIn post templates also make a lot of sense when you're in a pinch.
They're already preformatted, optimized and save you a ton of work if you're in a hurry.
Also, they provide you with a guide on what to post.
